Do you enjoy sports and have outstanding customer service skills? Then we want to talk to you!  Hy-Vee Arena is currently looking to fill full-time and part-time entry-level guest service

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Cordially greet internal and external customers and clients
  • Communicate to customers and clients, listen to their needs, present ideas and solutions to their requirements
  • Calmly address comments and complaints in person, by phone and/or email
  • Maintain composure under stressful, crisis and high-pressure situations
  • Accept/reconcile payments for facility usage
  • Assign courts, communicate usage to facility staff and accept payments
  • Enter guests information into our tracking system for marketing purposes
  • Work independently and as a team
  • Able to work a schedule which may include days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Able to push, pull, bend, lift to 25 lbs., and be mobile as needed
  • Keep entry to Arena clean and free of debris
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and the use of tablets
  • Must be able to read, write and verbally communicate in a professional manner
  • Experience in sports as an athlete is preferred, but not required

General Information

Job Type:  Part-time / Full-time

Salary:  $10-12 / hour

Hy-Vee Arena is open daily from 7am – 11pm.
