Coach Betty Lennox is an American retired professional basketball player. She played for seven different teams from the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA).
In 2000 Lennox became WNBA’s Rookie of the Year and was the first rookie to ever play in WNBA All-Star Game!
Lennox’s basketball career almost ended in 2001 when she broke her hip but Lennox refused to give up. She came back stronger than ever and in 2004 she helped lead her team to WNBA Championship winning 2-1 in the series.
After her long 12 year career with the WBBA, Lennox retired and is now a basketball trainer for college students. When not training, Lennox is traveling nationwide as a motivational speaker and youth mentoring through her foundation The Lennox Foundation 22.
