KC Crew presents the KC Cornhole Series(KCCS). This the KC Cornhold Series Grand Finale.  Anyone who placed 1st at a Series event is automatically entered.  The prizes will be big!  They stakes will be bigger and only 1 team will be named KC Cornhole Series Grand Champion!

Cornhole Team (2 Players)

  • Boards at 27 ft for competitive and 24 ft for recreational and includes 3 games pool play, 2 tickets for brunch buffet.

KC Classic Invitational “American Princess”

January 10th – 12th

Kansas City Gymnastics has been hosting the KC Classic “American Princess” Invitational for the past 28 years. Each year, they host more than 1000 gymnasts and bring in gyms from Missouri, Kansas and other surrounding states.

HOA Volleyball Martin Luther King Tournament

Janurary 18th – 20th

Entry Fee: $780 per team for the national qualifier divisions, 18 Open, 18 USA and 18 American.
$580 per team for all other divisions (Must accompany Entry Form) Entry Deadline: Thursday, December 20, 2019, as long as space is available.

Register Your Team:

1. Enter your registration in AES and print out the registration form. Mail entry form and entry fee to the HOA office. Teams will be accepted conditionally into the event. AES will open up registration on October 1.
2. Make hotel reservations through TTS (Info on the website)
3. Complete your team registration and get approval for competition from your region
4. Update your roster in AES
TEAMS WILL BE ACCEPTED INTO THE EVENT ONCE THEY HAVE DONE THEIR AES REGISTRATION, CONFIRMED THEIR HOTEL ROOMS THROUGH TTS AND PAID THE ENTRY FEE, AS LONG AS SPACE IS AVAILABLE.

KC STEM Alliance FIRST LEGO LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP

Janurary 25th, 7 am – 5 pm

In FIRST LEGO League, teams of students in grades 4-8 research a real-world engineering challenge, develop a solution and compete with LEGO-based robots of their own design. Teams advance to the Greater Kansas City FIRST LEGO League Championship through one of five FIRST LEGO League Qualifying Tournaments in November and December.

Come enjoy the action as teams engage in table competition (and also participate in judging for core values, project and robot design). FIRST LEGO League tournaments are open and free to the public starting with an Opening Ceremony at 11:30 a.m. and followed by robot game matches and an awards ceremony.

KC STEM Alliance is a not-for-profit collaborative network of educators, businesses and related organizations working to inspire interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math with the mission of generating a robust workforce of related professionals for the greater Kansas City region.

PLTW Senior Showcase 2020

KC Stem presents this annual event that celebrates graduating PLTW students and highlights their senior capstone projects from the Engineering Design and Development and Biomedical Innovation courses in a festive event. Students bring their PLTW curriculum to life as they share their projects with attendees and judges for the STEM Innovator Award Contest. The event wraps up with an awards ceremony recognizing the STEM Innovator Award finalists and winners of the online KC Engineering Design Competition and KC Biomedical Research Competitions.
